Lee has worked for over 20 years in the construction industry, including as expert witness on delay and quantum matters. He has gained experience in civil engineering, power and utilities, road and rail, infrastructure, mining, and commercial building projects throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe, India and Africa. Lee has been appointed as independent programme, delay and quantum expert in international and domestic disputes and has given evidence under cross examination on a number of occasions.
Lee has been appointed as independent expert on over 20 matters, and his experience includes the preparation of a wide range of expert quantum and delay reports in a variety of dispute resolution processes including international and domestic arbitration, litigation, mediation, dispute avoidance (and resolution) boards, expert determination and adjudications, and participation in hearings, and conclaves relating to these proceedings.
Lee has presented training sessions on quantum, planning and forensic delay analysis topics to a variety of clients and industry bodies and has lectured in the School of the Built Environment at Curtin University, WA.
